Strength in Weakness

Today I think about our sons. We did our best in parenting. We still parent but it looks different as they age.
Today I think about my mother. She did her best in parenting. She still parents but it looks different as she ages.
She needs me more.
Her example of selflessness is constantly in front of me. Even though Enemy Alzheimers has stolen her words, she tries to articulate caring, indicating she wants to give me something to drink (bottled water) or eat (popcorn, our favorite).
This weekend she felt so bad. But responsibility drove her from bed to set up chairs for Sunday School in the assisted living–amazing when considering others vacate the Gathering Together.
Mom, in your weakness this is your finest hour because the Power of Christ resides in you.
All my love,
