This is My Story

I grew up in Selma, Alabama. We played outside ’til dark, walked to school, and ate hamburgers during Friday night football games.

The Civil Rights movement shaped who we became. A healthcare profession taught me communication and encouragement skills.

From that stream flows stories. Maybe your story. Welcome. Sit a spell with us. On the porch swing, you can feel the breeze whispering through the pines and oaks.

My huband and I live on the Gulf Coast with two rescue dogs and two cats who think they rescued us. Around supper time, we might set extra places for our three sons, daughter-in-law and granddaughter.
