Isaiah 26:3-4 | You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! (4) Trust in the Lord always, for the Lord God is the eternal Rock.
I’d like complete peace, wouldn’t you? Against the backdrop of God’s promise to give perfect (complete) peace, we struggle to maintain trust and thoughts centered on his character.
He knows what we are made of…dust. He sees our distractions. Does he turn away in disgust?
The eternal Rock doesn’t move. The shadow of the Rock fixes on the landscape of our lives and stabilizes us as we know him.
We have a lifetime and an eternity.
